Phase 3, Finningley Court

Creating community on industrial land

39 sustainable family homes Children’s play area
Improved biodiversity Re-use of brownfield land

Making your area greater together

Finningley Court is a development by Swan Homes, a local house builder rooted in Doncaster.

This final phase of development will provide up to 39 additional family homes on industrial land to the rear of the current development.

The first two phases of the Finningley Court development have turned an abandoned, dilapidated industrial site into a flourishing and desirable community of 23 carefully crafted family homes.

We’re helping local families to find their first or forever homes, and so far 91% have sold to local people, 43% of them were also first-time buyers.

Investing in your community

We don’t just build beautiful family homes, we invest in the places we work.

Phase 2 of Finningley Court accounted for only 2% of all new homes in Doncaster*

However, we contributed:

  • 83% of affordable housing contributions
  • 11% of public open space contributions
  • 10% education of education contributions

We’re proud to support, grow and enhance the local community.

*Delivery and payments were made across financial years. For comparison purposes, figures quoted are taken from the Section 106 review for 2019/2020.

Proposed phase 3 layout

The current industrial site

Better for everyone

We know that an industrial site on your doorstep creates problems. This land is approved for use as industrial space, and could attract lorries, pollution and other issues. It’s currently a blight on the area.

The next phase of development will swap industrial land for family homes and open up views over the open countryside beyond.

We will contribute to schools, open spaces, medical facilities and more in the local area.

It incorporates a high quality play area, as well as improving biodiversity through careful landscaping.

We believe this will improve the area for the benefit of all residents.
